what i wore

to a folk art festival pat and i went to last weekend. old timey buildings, kettle corn, an outhouse... it was tight.

recently discovered gorgeous, vintage-inspired brand after reading about the designer in harper's bazaar this month. can't afford a stitch of it but so it goes.

wild wild west

signs in the national parks that freaked me out.

melrose fairfax flea market.

above are all photos i took from inside the car or hanging out the window
view from runyon canyon
me after climbing to get to that view, having chest pains and breaking out into heat rash.

bought this at the flea market
set from the movie vacancy. no wait, that's just our motel room in colorado
@ the american apparel factory flea market. if you live in la, i recommend.

some pictures from me and pat's trip west we took to visit my sister in la and celebrate my birthday. from st. louis to la we took the quick way (mo, ok, tx, nm, az, ca along old route 66) After we left la, we went through arizona, utah, colorado, kansas and missouri taking a slow but scenic way back home (scenic until you leave the rockies then it's pretty much nothing forever and you're praying for civilization and kansas city suddenly seems absolutely massive when you get there).  anyway, it was a ridiculous and amazing trip with many, many stories but i feel like they are the type where you had to be there so i will let the pictures do the talking.
